Everything important about the app at a glance
NicerGolfJournal helps you manage players, courses, rounds, and statistics in a structured and useful way on iPhone and Mac.
NicerGolfJournal at a Glance
NicerGolfJournal is an app for iPhone and Mac for recording and analyzing golf data. The focus is not only on individual rounds, but also on the interaction between players, courses, tee sets, layouts, ratings, and statistical evaluations.
The app was designed to organize golf data in a way that is not only complete, but also genuinely useful. Instead of being limited to simple score tracking, NicerGolfJournal provides a structured foundation for long-term use and meaningful analysis.
Your data belongs to you
NicerGolfJournal is a one-time purchase — no account, no subscription required, no data collection. Your golf data stays exclusively on your devices and in your own iCloud.
Players and Groups
Players can be created individually and grouped when needed — and a player can belong to several groups. This makes it possible to manage both personal statistics and shared rounds with later comparisons in a clear and organized way.
Courses with Real Structure
Golf courses in NicerGolfJournal are not stored as just a simple name. The app supports a structured model based on hole sets, layouts, tee sets, and ratings. This allows even more complex facilities with multiple 9-hole combinations or different playing options to be represented properly.
Recording Rounds
Rounds can be documented for one or several players. Depending on your usage, various golf-specific details can be recorded and later used for statistical evaluations and comparisons.
Making Development Visible
The recorded data feeds into the Analysis view, which brings overview, statistics and comparisons together in one place. This makes it easier to see how your game develops over time, where your strengths are, and where there is still room for improvement.
Data Exchange
In addition to managing data within the app, NicerGolfJournal also supports the export and import of data. Course data can be shared in a JSON-based format and exchanged with other users through the course data section on this website.
